Does this even fall into Social Development?

I've been babysitting some kids for the past week (read my last blog if you want more info). Tonight's my last night with them. A little bittersweet knowing that I'll leave in the morning, go to work, and go home to my own bed. I've played mom for the past week and now, all of a sudden, I'm not going to be in that role anymore. Anyways, I've had some great times. I LOVE these kids!!!! I knew of them before. The oldest child was the only one I had ever interacted with before. I didn't even know the names of these kids. I fell in love with them, though. Anyways, today, as we were doing dishes, the oldest child turned to me and said, "Denali, I'm glad you're the one who babysat us." Yes, the 'child' was 14 but it still MELTED my heart. I LOVE those moments!! :D
