That will most likely make its debut this weekend. Yes, I know it will take a lot of work to make my very own I.S.D.P. but I work in a daycare and have to work around goals for the children and I have had hands-on experience with I.E.P.s for various reasons. I'm looking forward to planning my own.
Anyways, here's just a few goals for this week. This is specifically for what will happen on Thursday when I go to Institute, seeing as that is the main place that my social development will be implemented.
- Talk to 2 new people: Preferably I will initiate the conversation in both conversations.
- Dress confidently: I need to work on dressing to impress or at least look like I didn't just throw on the first clothes I saw that didn't clash. (This also includes a mini shopping spree sometime in the next 2 weeks.)
- Give compliments: I need to compliment people I see. Gender doesn't matter. If I see something appealing or something fun I should compliment. (Plus it gets me to open my mouth!)
- Let one of my best chica friends know that I'd be a-okay with here arranging or suggesting double or group dates.
That may seem like a simple goal to most. It's huge for me. I can count the number of dates I've had on one hand. And I've initiated them all.
My biggest goal of all: Even when guys are lame and don't ask me out, I will stay strong and still keep asking them out or at least paying attention to them.
I love that you're going to give compliments, what a great quality to develop! When I was reading your goals it reminded me of a talk by Sister Beck, my bestie, that really changed my life. I don't know if you've heard it, but I SO love this talk. You should check it out. LOVE IT! Helps me put my life/goals into perspective. http://lds.org/library/display/0,4945,538-1-4430-1,00.html
